Afghanistan, no country for women

A report made by Thomson Reuters Foundation shows that Afghanistan is the most dangerous country for a woman to live in. On the second place of the top is Congo that has the biggest rape rate on a day in the world. The experts from Thomson Reuters Foundation said that the top five is completed with Pakistan, India and Somalia, and the main indicators for this research are the domestic abuse, the discrimination, rapes, mutilation, exploitation  and the possibility to have an education.  The leader of a women organization, Antonella Notari, said that the war from Afghanistan is the ground of worsening the life expectances and conditions for the women there. More, this is mixed with the cultural practices and the prejudices. The situation is so brutal, that a woman from Afghanistan who wants to speak about the abuses or want to have a public position, it doesn’t matter how little or how much she is exposed to everybody’s viewing,  is at that moment either intimidated, either killed.

The new report conducted by Thomson Reuters Foundation inaugurate by this way the women department, that it will deal with the problems, perceptions and the harm that the women are suffering all over the world. Under the questioner about the most dangerous countries in the world, there were analyzed the health care, the sexual abuses, domestic violence or the terror, the cultural customs, the religious ones, the traffic  and the possibility to have access on the public resources or goods. According to the polls, the discrimination and the domination of the women due the religious and cultural customs are just as bad as the war from Afghanistan. The rate killing is the same in this case. According to another report of Afghanistan women, one from 11 will die at birth because of the lack of access at the health care conditions.

The second place on the top that was made by Thomson Reuters Foundation shows Democratic Republic of Congo on the second place. The most dangerous way of woman’s exploitation is the rape. In Congo, every day there are 1150 rapes. In a year, more than 400.000 women are raped and this is why, the United Nation that conducted another report in Congo, called the country the rape capital of the world. Besides the terrifying abuse gesture, there are women in Congo that are recruited as soldiers and used after a while as sex slaves.
