Bizarre code name for Barack Obama during his U.K visit
Scotland Yard gave the United States President, Barack Obama, a weird code name during his official visit in the United Kingdom where he met Queen Elisabeth II. He was called „chalaque”, that means „the one that thinks is the smartest”, said Daily Mail on the electronic edition. This bizarre code name that the American President received stirred up a lot of controversies, because this expression has Indian origins and is a little bit offensive. An Indian dialect expert, Indarjit Singh, explained that this word is used „in the moment that a person is disparaged because he thinks is the smartest”. Another specialist of the Indian dialect said that this expression has its origins in the urdu dialect, from the Punjab Indian state and is not an insult, but is has its own doze of irony and could be a little bit offensive. He said that this expression is used also to describe an „impertinent” or „malicious” person.

The Scotland Yard sources said that those code names are chosen randomly by the computer. The British press though is asking why there aren’t chosen some less offensive code names, especially when they are related to important world officials. The American President Barack Obama arrived in the United Kingdom one day before the air traffic of the country to be closed because of the dust cloud from the Iceland volcano Grimsvoetn. He came to visit the country with the first lady, Michelle Obama. During the three days visit, Obama met Queen Elisabeth II and Prime Minister David Cameron. The press speculates that on their agenda, the officials will probably have some discussions regarding the Libyan conflict and the entire political situation of the Middle East.
The two countries said in an official statement that the United Stated-United Kingdom partnership is an essential one for these states and the entire world also because it signifies safe and security worldwide. Barack Obama and David Cameron said in a common statement that the two countries will not abandon the protesters that are asking the democracy in the Arabian countries. They reinforced their support and added that the force is not a solution, but when it comes to the values and the general good, they have to take actions. This visit was the 101 one in the United Kingdom, that was signed by Scotland Yard, but only the third one from the last 100 years. The last American President that visited the United Kingdom was Gorge Bush, in 2003.
