Tim Pawlenty announced he will run for Presidency in 2012
The former republican governor of Minnesota, Tim Pawlenty, announced on Sunday his candidature at the 2012 election for President of the United States from the Republican Party. At this time, the President Barack Obama has a strong competitor for the next year election. He started his first stop on the election campaign in Iowa. In an official statement, he added that Iowa is the starting place where he will tell all the American people the truth. The video election advertising contains those words and the 50 years old former governor hopes to gain people's trust and confidence in this way. He is a much respected political figure and could be the leading figure for his party in this political trial. Although the polls haven't been very favorable to Pawlenty, he is starting this campaign with a lot of faith in his potential.

His supporters call him "T-Paw" and he was a governor for two mandates. His Republican colleagues consider him a vital candidate for attracting the independent voters. He completed his law education at the University of Minnesota. He grew in a rural environment and his father was a truck driver. When he was 16 years old, his mother died of cancer and in the same time, his father lost his job. From this moment he worked to support his family. Despite of his thought situation, he managed to have a strong career. According to the political analysts, his campaign will have the same financial support as the President Obama. His poll increasing will depend of the way the people will have the chance to pass through the employment crisis.
In the Republican's polls, Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts Governor, was the leading person in the people's preferences. On the other hand, Newt Gingrich, the former speaker of the U.S House of Representatives had a fresh and rocky evolution in the polls. Although he entered in this elections race two weeks ago, he was very appreciated for criticizing the way the Republicans managed the insurance program for the elderly. Other two very well appreciated figures aren't in this race, despite of their popularity. Mitch Daniels, the Indiana Governor, Mike Huckabee, the former Arkansas Governor and Haley Barbour, Mississippi Governor, said they will not be in the people's attention for this election campaign. The people are waiting other two candidatures with very strong and well argued opinion. Michele Bachmann and the popular Sarah Palin are expected to have an official statement on this issue.
